I wanted to take a moment to reach out to our loyal donors, alumni, supporters and community members of St. Mary’s University.
Each day, news about COVID-19 captures my attention. This is an unprecedented situation for us all, and the impact of COVID-19 is changing at a rapid pace. Like you, we are doing our best to navigate the situation as it continually evolves. St. Mary’s continues to view the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and community members as our top priority.
As a result, St. Mary’s has made every effort to do our part in flattening the curve and slowing the spread. This has led to many changes, including the cancellation of several events through to May of 2020, moving student classes to an online platform, and moving our employees to a remote working environment. We sincerely thank those who planned to attend any of our events that have been cancelled. We will continue to assess our future events and plans as we move forward.
Please know, St. Mary’s appreciates all the prayers, concerns, and support you have shown during this difficult time. We, in turn, will continue to keep you and your loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.
St. Mary’s is committed to keeping our benefactors and community well informed. When our physical campus springs to life again, we will ensure that you are notified of what will be a truly joyous celebration.
Thank you for your continued strength, support and assistance as we navigate this COVID-19 challenge.
Through group discussion, social media, and our website newsfeed, our supporters, alumni and community will be connected in more ways than ever before. We are committed to honest, transparent and timely sharing of information and updates as we all move forward together.
