My areas of interest are theatre and contemporary literature with some ongoing research on science and performance studies. I strive to show students the relevancy of literature and drama by studying these works through various lenses. I want students to be aware of their roles as scholars, and for class analysis and discussion to be a starting point for their own future studies no matter what discipline they choose to tackle. Cultural, sociopolitical, and artistic references are an integral part of my everyday teaching to help students see each novel, play or poem as a multi-layered work.
