The Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action are said to be a gift to Canadians to show us the path to healing relationships.

Casey Eagle Speaker, a Blackfoot Elder from Kainia (Blood Tribe) in Southern Ablerta who works with students, staff and faculty at St. Mary`s University to imagine our way forward in reconciliation will be joining us on Wednesday October 24th.

Please join us at 11:30 in McGivney Hall for a First Nations teaching circle with Casey. This ceremony is in lieu of our weekly Mass on October 24th. Please note, that there will be a sacred smudge. If you have any allergies, please take the necessary precautions.

Come and drop by the Sacred Space from 12:30-1:30pm in the classroom building for an informal chat with Casey.

Everyone is welcome, no need to RSVP.

This is a co-sponsored event between the Indigenous Initiatives office and the office of Campus Ministry. We look very forward to seeing you there. If you have any questions, please stop by or drop us a note.
