You are invited to gather with us to workshop your individual responses to the Calls to Action of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission (TRC) through facilitated conversation.
You may be a community member, and/or an educator responding to the Teacher Qualifications Service goals or another professional who wants to be extending your learning. Please come and be part of this unique learning opportunity.
Some essential questions to be explored include:
- Why does it matter?
- What do your personal values and the recommendations share in common?
- How can your response be meaningful and how can you embody it on a daily basis in your professional and personal life?
Michelle Scott, Director of Indigenous Initiatives at St. Mary’s University, will facilitate this series. Elders and Indigenous scholars will provide a political, historical and social context, and share personal stories with which to explore the TRC’s Calls to Action.
