It is with deep sorrow that the entire St. Mary’s University Community mourns the loss of Father Rupert MacLellan who passed away on Saturday, August 4 at the Father Lacombe Care Centre.
As we reflect and celebrate the life and legacy of Father MacLellan we look back fondly on the time he spent with our community and the impact he had on the lives of our students. Whether he was on campus for a lecture or regularly attending Mass on Wednesdays, Father MacLellan was an ardent supporter of St. Mary’s and a cherished pastor, mentor and friend who loved nothing more than meeting with our students.

A memorial services for Father MacLellan will be held today, August 9, 2018, at St. Mary’s Cathedral at 11:00 a.m.
