Introducing St. Mary’s Safe App
St. Mary’s University is pleased to announce the release a dynamic new safety application called St. Mary’s Safe that will allow students, staff, faculty, and other StMU community members to receive real-time safety messaging from an official and trusted source.
The free app will allow users to ‘opt-in’ and receive accurate, real-time information about situations on campus that require immediate attention. These can included school closures, lockdown, power failure, severe weather alerts, and various other situations when the distribution of information is essential, and puts access to emergency services and safety resources in the hands of users.
‘St. Mary’s Safe’ app is now available for free download on Google Play or the Apple App store and is available for all smartphones.
St. Mary’s University Facilities Coordinator Stephanie Nash will be available to assist new users on Tuesday February 5 until Thursday February 7 from 11 a.m. until noon in the lobby of the Classroom Building.
