SUMMARY:1st Annual Mass to consecrate St. Mary’s University to Mary
DESCRIPTION:On May 31\, Bishop William McGrattan will celebrate the 1st Annual Consecration Mass of St. Mary’s University to Mary\, the Mother of God! \nNow what is a Marian Consecration you may ask? The definition for the word “consecrate” is to “dedicate formally to a religious or divine source”. A Marian consecration is the act of entrusting one’s entire life to the protection\, guidance\, and intercession of Mary. Consecrating the university to Mary means entrusting all activities\, studies\, and members of the St. Mary’s Community to her maternal care. \nWe invite all friends\, members\, and visitors of the university to join us for Mass with Bishop McGrattan on the Feast Day of the Visitation\, May 31\, starting at 7:00pm in M100 of McGivney Hall and a reception to follow.
