NSO was a day to welcome our new Arts and Sciences students – we can’t wait to see what they will achieve throughout the course of their degrees with us at StMU.

It has been an exciting week on the historic St. Mary’s University campus as we welcome back both new and returning students for the fall semester. As we launch into another academic year, we are here to help you succeed – whether it is your first or final year here with us at StMU.

With hundreds of new students now on campus, last week was also busy with New Student Orientations, for both our Arts and Sciences and Education programs. New students were given campus tours, orientation sessions, and critical program information.

For Arts and Sciences orientation, food trucks and a mobile escape room helped to break up the day and encouraged students to get to know each other better. Education students had their time dedicated to learning more about the specialized elements of their program – including information to improve their practicum experience and details on the Education Students’ Association.

Our new first-year BEd students are the educators of the future!

As we kick-off the fall semester, it’s important that all students remember to stay connected with what’s happening on campus!
