John Wasch

Specialization/Research Interest
John Wasch currently serves as the Director, Catholicity with the Calgary Catholic School District. His career in Catholic education spans three decades with a variety of roles as teacher, administrator and system leader. He is motivated by a deep appreciation of the sacred responsibility of educating young people and supporting families. John’s areas of specialization include teacher faith formation, discipleship and the growth of Catholic culture. His Master’s work focused on effective professional development and instructional technologies. John’s current work involves navigating complex and sensitive situations and grief/trauma response.
