Born and raised in Montreal, I grew up in a city where basketball is woven into every neighborhood and court. My love for the game started young, thanks to my eldest brother, who introduced me to basketball at age five. His coach would let me dribble up and down the court during practices, and by the end of that summer, I was hooked.

For me, my drive to succeed is simple: I want to reach my fullest potential. Tim Grover’s words, “If you think the cost of winning is high, just wait until you get the bill for regret,” resonate deeply with me. My short-term goal is to earn a starting position, but my long-term vision is to be the league’s MVP.

Music and the arts are my second love, and I find a lot of inspiration in artists like Frank Ocean, Lil Wayne, Biggie, and the soulful sounds of Al Green. To me, basketball and music are both art forms—expressions of passion and creativity. They balance each other, like yin and yang. Music helps me unwind, fueling my focus and giving me the peace I need to perform my best on the court.

Although I’m still early in my journey, if I had any advice, it would be to always stay a lifelong learner. As Eyan Bryant says, “He who thinks he has completed the journey is truly lost.” Humility and a hunger to grow will take you far, both in sports and in life.
