Dr. Mohammed Shakeel Kalathil

Assistant Professor,

Dr. Kalathil was born in India and moved to the U.S. in 2009 for his PhD (Kent State University). In 2015, he moved to Canada as an Eyes High Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary. Currently he is an Associate member at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and Mathison Center for Mental Health and Education at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine. His current research focuses on building neuroimaging models to predict risk for serious mental illness among youth.

He loves teaching and interacting with students. He teaches courses in cognitive psychology, abnormal psychology, sensation and perception, statistics, general psychology and clinical psychology.
