St. Mary’s University Empowers Future School Leaders with Online Leadership Courses

School leadership is about more than managing day-to-day operations — it’s about inspiring students, guiding teachers, and shaping the future of education. Recognizing the need for strong, values-driven leadership in Alberta’s schools, St. Mary’s University is proud to offer two new online courses designed specifically for aspiring school administrators and teacher leaders.

These 3-credit courses, aligned with Alberta’s Leadership Quality Standard (LQS), provide a practical and research-based foundation for those looking to step into school leadership roles. Upon completion, participants will have fulfilled the coursework requirements for Principal accreditation, as approved by Alberta Education.
