Are you looking for a resource that our library doesn’t own or have access to?

InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is a service where a user of one library can request resources that are owned by another library. This includes physical items like books, videos, DVDs, sound recordings, or microfilms. It also includes providing photocopies or digital versions of articles in journals or magazines.

The Library will process ILL requests for materials of all types. However, some libraries may place restrictions on the types of materials that will be loaned. The kinds of restrictions will vary from institution to institution.

Please note that materials that are readily available within the city of Calgary through either SAIL member libraries (using your STMU id card) or the Calgary Public Library system cannot be requested through the StMU Library. Information on the SAIL member libraries is on our Partnerships page

If you need to borrow material from a local library to which you do not have borrowing privileges, you can also receive a lending card from The Alberta Library (TAL), available at the library front desk with your STMU ID.
