The Library provides resources and research assistance for all library users. Whether it is finding a print book for your paper or using electronic resources, the Library also hosts group library workshops you can sign up for and sessions for your entire class.
Participation in library workshops are available on a first-come, first served basis. You can sign up for sessions and check the schedule of sessions below. Just use the StMU ID and password that you use for StMU Webmail and for My.StMU.
Available Workshops

This session will go over the basics of library research: navigating databases, finding quality research, and structuring keyword searches. After this session, you will feel comfortable using the library catalogue to look for books, journal articles, and more!

As more and more students turn toward AI for help with academic work, this session will go over the pros and cons of using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) for your research papers, while recommending some great, free sources that will help organize and optimize the research process.
