Below are some suggested databases for Education (Leadership and Management).
Databases allow you to search collections of journals, articles, books, topic reviews, evidence-based summaries and drug information. StMU databases include Core Databases which are curated collections focusing on a specific subject area and Multidisciplinary Databases which provide broad subject coverage in all areas of undergraduate study.

Education Research Complete is a robust database for education students, professionals and policymakers. Providing hundreds of full-text education journals, it covers all levels of education, from early childhood to higher education, plus multilingual education, health education and testing.
ERIC is a web-based digital library of free education-related sources of interest to educators, researchers, and the general public, and consists primarily of electronic bibliographic records describing journal and non-journal literature.
CBCA Complete is a current events database combining content from four subsets (Business, Current Events, Education, and Reference).
This collection expands JSTOR’s coverage in economics, law, education, sociology, psychology, and public policy and administration. It includes noteworthy student-run law reviews, featuring more than a century of top legal scholarship.
Covering all major academic disciplines, Academic Search Elite is a rich resource spanning a broad stretch of academic subjects with thousands of full-text journals and abstracted and indexed journals.
There is nothing wrong with using the internet. You can find very helpful resources on the web but you should know where and when is the right time to use the internet versus a Library database.

The Canadian Journal of Education (CJE) is a national peer-reviewed journal sponsored by the membership of the Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE). The CJE prioritizes research and scholarly writing that is of relevance to the Canadian education community. The journal is read by scholars worldwide, and aims to represent the valuable contributions that Canadian scholars in education continue to make to the field. The Journal accepts and publishes both French and English articles and book reviews. CJE on occasion also publishes international papers that shed light on shared issues and that include Canadian authors as references.
The Canadian Journal of Higher Education/La Revue canadienne d’enseignement supérieur (ISSN 0316-1218; 2293-6602) is a peer-reviewed and open-access publication of the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education. CJHE is indexed in Scopus as of October 2020. The journal’s aim is to contribute to research and scholarly debate on higher education in Canada.
Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis (EEPA) is the premier journal for rigorous, policy-relevant research on issues central to education. The articles that appear inform a wide range of readers—from scholars and policy analysts to journalists and education associations—working at local, state, and national levels. EEPA is a multidisciplinary journal, and editors consider original research from multiple disciplines, orientations, and methodologies.
Educational Leadership (EL) is the magazine for educators written by educational leaders—principals, teachers, and administrators at every level and in every subject area. It is the flagship publication of ASCD, a global nonprofit leader in developing and delivering innovative programs, products, and services that empower educators to support the success of each learner.
First published in 1951, Educational Theory has long served as an important forum for scholarship and debate in the foundations of education. The purpose of the journal is twofold: to foster the continuing development of educational theory and to stimulate discussion of educational concepts and aims among educators.
IJEPL is a refereed electronic journal dedicated to enriching the education policy, leadership, and research use knowledge bases, and promoting exploration and analysis of policy alternatives.
ISEA has been publishing high quality research articles in the field of educational leadership from across the world for over four decades. The journal is one of the oldest journals in the educational leadership field; the field’s longest running journal, Journal of Educational Administration preceded ISEA by ten years, and the journal of the University Council for Educational Administration, Educational Administration Quarterly, preceded it by eight years.
JOLE engages scholars and practitioners who advance leadership education and development. Scholar-practitioners represent various fields to include Education, Training and Development, and Corporate Education. To provide an evidence-based environment for discussion and promotion of new and best practices, all JOLE manuscripts are grounded in Leadership Theory. The journal serves as a forum to share teaching and learning advancements, research innovations, and applications.
Review of Research in Education (RRE), published annually, provides a forum for analytic research reviews on selected education topics of significance to the field. Each volume addresses a topic of broad relevance to education and learning, and publishes articles that critically examine diverse literatures and bodies of knowledge across relevant disciplines and fields. RRE volumes advance the state of the knowledge, promote discussion, and shape directions for future research.
The Alberta Journal of Educational Research (AJER) is a scholarly quarterly journal, published in Canada, that is devoted to the dissemination, interpretation, critique, and support of all forms of scholarly inquiry into education, broadly construed, and the fields associated with education both locally and globally.

Many electronic resources, such as the Library catalogue and academic databases, offer citation generation tools to automatically generate citations in your chosen style.
